Have you ever got addicted to an author or a series of books? I've read all the J.D Robb books and now l'm addicted to the Stephanie plum novels by Janet Evanovich, There's crime and laugh out loud moments. What about you. Who are you addicted to??

What are you missing??

Hi everyone, hope everyone is staying safe and well. Here in Melbourne we are slowly coming out of level 4 lockdown. No live, in person, performances yet. The good news is that l hope to soon start music lessons to finally learn the ukulele. On that note, starting this Sunday November 29th the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain will start performing pay per view full concerts and l, for one, will definitely be watching. Who knows one day you may see me playing my ukulele (and l promise not to sing ). I hope more companies do this. I'm missing ballet and musical theatre so bad. What are you missing during lockdown???

Taking a break

Hello, this is to let everyone know that Emily Cat176 is taking a break. Melbourne is in a level 4 lockdown and l think l'm not the only one who is feeling down. My best wishes go out to all those who are being impacted by this. I don't really know what else to say. Please keep safe and l hope you all stay well.

What's on 30/07

No live music at present. Melbourne is still in lockdown.  Another show everyone can access is The Sound. It showcases new and classic Australian music. There is even a sneak peak at Nick Cave's ticketed show Idiot Prayer. His solo show was on July 13, but, if you like what you hear head over to his website for upcoming shows. (I have mentioned before that l believe in paying for online shows). The Sound is free to look at. Log into Iview and feast in all the great Aussie music. https://iview.abc.net.au/show/sound
