A new, to me, Australian crime author

A friend told me about a book she was reading this week.

 Of course l asked what she was reading. I had never heard of this author so l looked her up. 

She is a new, to me, Australian crime author. Margaret Hickey lives in North East Victoria, which is my state. Melbourne is the capital city of Victoria. 

Cutters End is the book my friend is reading. I looked for it in my library app and it is not available until March next year. That's a very long wait list.

So l have borrowed An Ill Wind.
