History authors please

-

I have been reading more history books lately.

I'm interested in history and l think history teaches us lessons. It's also interesting to see how often history is repeated.

As this is a relatively new genre for me to read l don't know a lot of authors in this field.

So, if you are interested in these books please let me know some authors.

And, please leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you.

The heat has returned and so have l to where l stay in between jobs. We're having a hot, humid summer that never seems to stop.  Good weather for staying inside and writing poetry. Today l am sharing the names of some poetry prizes around the world.  All for emerging and new poets. Perhaps one of them is you. I hope so. I want poetry to thrive and survive.  Most Wednesdays l read a poem and, if you would like me to read yours contact me at emilycat176@gmail.com  and we can start a conversation about me reading it out.
