Oh, to be a virtuoso pianist

I've seen some wonderful pianists lately.


 Think back over time to all the good pianists who've been in music. Billy Joel and Elton John are just 2 l can think of.

I would like to learn the piano and a few years ago l did start with a music teacher. 3 weeks later l'm moving away to another house sitting job and so went the lessons. I don't stay anywhere long enough to have lessons.

Can you play the piano?

I wish l could.

Who's looking forward to the new Strike novel?

I like crime novels. They are my favourite to read. Of course, theses days, when l say read l mean listen. I have bad hearing and have had hearing aides for years. Audible and Borrow Box are on my phone which is connected to my hearing aides and it is much easier to carry a phone rather than a book. Robert Galbraith books are so good. I personally think that J.K. Rowling is a very good writer.  So l have gone back to the start. Through Audible l have listened to The Cuckoo's Calling right through to Troubled Blood. I'm going to listen to all of them; Ink Black Heart is next. They should all be finished by the time the new novel comes out and l can't wait.  Who else is waiting for the new release? I have to ask you a question

Have any of you read Tolstoy? Do you have a favourite?  This is a very interesting documentary that l found this week. He was an interesting man and led an interesting life. He is regarding as one of the greatest Russian writers and l think it is a well deserved titile. What do you think?
