Do you like The Thursday Murder Club books?

 There is a new book out in this series.

This is the 5th book in the series and l currently have it queued on my audible app.

These are enjoyable books to read. 4 elderly pensioners living in a retirement village. Now, that premise doesn't sound very interesting but, somehow, these books work. Not quite cosy English crime but they are in that vein.

I saw the Netflix adaptation as well. Of course, like most books, there were some changes made for the screen. I do think that they got the characters right. Books nearly always get changed for filming. It makes sense as the films would be hours long if a book was followed faithfully and who wants to sit through a film that long!

So it is in the queue. Now all l have to do is finish listening to the J.D. Robb book.
