Because l double booked and missed....

I wrote down the wrong date and missed a show l was looking forward to. 





 Have you done the same?

I'm busy and don't have the best memory so l need to put events in my phone at the time l book them. I did this, but, missread the date and ended up sitting in the audience of one show when l really needed to be in an audience in a different suburb. 

That teaches me to, 1 use my glasses instead of trying to squint and read things. 2. Check the tickets carefully . Frankston Symphony Orchestra are not performing in Frankston again for a couple of months but, l have just received notification about the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and I'm definitely booking that show. I will triple check the date.

The heat has returned and so have l to where l stay in between jobs. We're having a hot, humid summer that never seems to stop.  Good weather for staying inside and writing poetry. Do you read Jonathan Kellerman books?

I received 2 book recommendations this week. I was talking to someone who told me about what they had been reading.   Now, l admit, l don't read much anymore. I bought 2 books with me as l started this block of house sitting and l have to admit that l haven't even looked at them. It has been a busy week and l am doing different travelling. It is so much easier to listen to audiobooks rather than carry around books that get heavier and heavier as the day progresses.  Tomorrow is the last day for this first house, but, l am coming back next week so l will leave these books here. Hopefully I will read them.. Now, back to the recommendations.  They were for 2 books by different authors.  Charles Todd is one and l have to admit that l haven't heard of him before.  The book is called A fatal lie.
