Maurice Ravel 1875-1937. French composer and pianist. Contemporary, and sometime critic, of Claude Debussy. An intense, sensual piece of music. Absolutely brilliant.

Performance in 2010 by Wiener Philharmoniker (Vienna Philharmonic) Orchestra. This orchestra has been performing since 1842 and this production was lead by Venezuelan Conductor Gustavo Dudamel Ramirez.
