Cold Chisel - Breakfast At Sweethearts (1979)

I recently saw a video that listed the top 50 contemporary songs of Australia.  Khe Sanh was number 1, no surprises there. I spent many nights in pubs and clubs singing along to that song.

Cold Chisel were a great band. Formed in Adelaide in the 1970s they are much loved in this country. The songwriting of Don Walker lifted this band up high. Jimmy Barnes has forged a successful solo career but he was at his best in Cold Chisel.

Breakfast at Sweethearts was the single from the 1979 album of the same name. It truly is one of their best.
